Taking inspiration from the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Little Mermaid, originally Den Lille Havfrue, this dance production follows a young mermaid through love and self-sacrifice in the quest for an immortal soul. Professional choreographers, specialising in varying styles, have worked with our dancers to explore aspects of the original text to produce a modern collaborative performance, maintaining the essence of the mysterious, tragic tale.
